Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)


Provide BLS patient care and transport for ambulance patients in a pre-hospital setting for the premier EMS provider in Indiana County (PA). Full-time and part-time scheduling available. Benefits include healthcare, dental, short and long term disability and life insurance, and earned vacation, sick and personal days. Applicants must have a current PA EMT certification, CPR and EVOC to be considered for employment. Criminal Background and MVR reviews are part of the interview/selection process. ($17.51/hour).

Provide ALS patient care and transport for ambulance patients in a pre-hospital setting for the premier EMS provider in Indiana County (PA). Full-time and part-time scheduling available. Benefits include healthcare, dental, short and long term disability and life insurance, and earned hours for paid vacation/sick hours and 2 personal days. Applicants must have a current PA Paramedic certification, CPR, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS and EVOC to be considered for employment. Criminal Background and MVR reviews are part of the interview/selection process. ($23.69-24.72/hour).

Paramedics


EMT - Advanced


Provides basic care and limited ALS patient care and transports for ambulance patients in a pre-hospital setting for the premier EMS provider in Indiana County (PA). Full-time and part-time scheduling available. Benefits include healthcare, dental, short and long term disability and life insurance, and earned vacation, sick and personal days. Applicants must have a current PA EMT certification, CPR and EVOC to be considered for employment. Criminal Background and MVR reviews are part of the interview/selection process. ($19.57/hour).

EMS Vehicle Operators (EMSVO)


Drive the ambulance on Emergency and non-Emergency calls with certified EMS provider crewmember(s). Additional duties include lifting/carrying patients, equipment and supplies, and inventorying, cleaning and restocking the ambulance. Must have EVOC/EVDT to acquire EMSVO certification through the PA Bureau of EMS and a current CPR certification. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License with 2 years driving experience, and establish clearance for acceptable driving history and criminal background. Being an EMSVO is a great way to explore EMS as a future career. ($11.75/hour).

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)


Emergency Medical Responder play a vital role in the first line of emergency medical care. EMRs provide immediate lifesaving interventions as part of an EMS crew. Responsibilities include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, assessing patient conditions, performing basic emergency care, and assisting higher-level EMS personnel. This position requires EMR certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Health and CPR and EVOC/EVDT certifications, and a commitment to public safety and patient care. ($12.36/hour).

Medical Transport Van Drivers

Drive clients to and from medical related appointments in company vans, either wheelchair accessible or standard passenger vehicles. Part-time employment with flexible scheduling, we also provide training and uniforms. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License with 2 years driving experience, and establish clearance for acceptable driving history and criminal background. $11/hour.

EMT-B Training

The IUP Institute for Rural Health and Safety also offers a Paramedic Program at the University. Participants who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the National Registry of Paramedics certification exam for Pennsylvania and national certification as a paramedic.
